The main reason why people face problems while adopting healthy eating is that they are not aware of the main nutrients in grains. Grains contain many key nutrients like protein, dietary fiber, iron, vitamins, minerals, etc. Some of the important grains include brown rice, whole wheat, wild rice, pasta, popcorn, whole grain bread, cereals, pastas, fruits, vegetables, legumes, beans, etc. The major difference between whole grains and refined grains lies in their degree of fiber content. Whole grains contain more dietary fiber than refined grains. Hence, it is recommended to adopt a healthy eating habit by substituting processed or junk foods with healthy choices.
